Shri Renuka Ji District : Sirmour, Himachal Pradesh
Shri Renuka Ji, the sacred land of Lord Parshuram, is located in the Sirmour district of Himachal Pradesh. It is the lower Himalayan range, about 400 meters above sea level. It is about 95 kms from Ambala, the nearest Railway station. Other rail heads are in Chandigarh (95kms), Dehradun (116 kms) and in Delhi (325 kms). It is a tourist & religious place, which is still not publicized as other nearby tourist spots such as Shimla. This religious spot, on side of river Giri Ganga, is spread over a circumference of about 3 kms. The Renuka Ji lake is regarded as the embodiment of Renuka Ji, the wife of sage Jamadagini Rishi and the mother of Parshurama- one of the ten AVATARS of Lord Vishnu. Our office at Dadahu is located in the interiors of Sirmour District of Himachal Pradesh which is about 600 meters from Shri Renuka ji. It can only be approached by road. The nearest airports are at Chandigarh and Dehradun. It is not connected to the main cities in a simple way. One wrong turn can lead you to a different village altogether in the mountains.
