Our Work
1. Vocational Training :
India suffers from a high unemployment rate, especially young people. The International Labour Organization estimated that unemployment among young people between the age of 15 and 24 is up to twice as high as among the general population.
Vocational Training is an option to increase the chances of getting a job. The provision of such vocational trainings is to serve as a valuable function in reducing the mismatch between the demand and supply of jobs, which is noticeable today. SIDHI started the Vocational Training Centre at Dadahu for various reasons. There was, therefore, a great need to equip several semi-educated boys and girls in the villages, to earn their livelihood. The Vocational Training Centre started with one trades in 1999 Computer Basic with SIDHI’s own fund.
Orientation programs are conducted for VTC trainees to enhance their skills and knowledge. The trainees are made aware of latest technologies, skilled labour market, opportunities etc.
Placements Activities:
SIDHI provides help to find a good placement for students who pass the vocational training courses successfully. I
2. Health:
Health is an important precondition of learning. Thus SIDHI launched the Community Health program, focusing on preventive and promotive health.

Our mission is to establish effective and sustainable mechanisms in the realm of promotive, preventive and rehabilitative health. It is aimed at improving the demand and access to health services for weaker sections to become healthy communities. The focus is on services in the fields of reproductive and child health, AIDS, environment and population.
Strategy.
2. Differently Able:
Caring for children with special abilities became a part of SIDHI 5 years ago, when Disability was included as a programme. The first breakthrough was Home based Pragram for Children with Special Needs, this programme has been making life better for many children since then.
Sidhi is reaching all over Sirmour to help special children who are hearing and visually impaired. These children are also physically and mentally challenged. This program is working through S S A (Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan) in which 20 children have been chosen from the surrounding villages. Sidhi is providing special education for their basic daily living skills, physiotherapy, Yoga, speech therapy, and primary education through home based environments.
